Dating back to the 18th century, this historic pub is situated in the picturesque village of Oare near Faversham.

Freshly prepared food is served every day, with the menu changing regularly to make the most of the fantastic locally sourced seasonal produce.
An à la carte menu is served in the restaurant, offering a delicious selection of classics with a contemporary twist, or choose from the popular range of light bites and bar snacks.

A perfect pint is guaranteed at the Three Mariners, with Shepherd Neame’s award-winning range of ales and lagers brewed just a mile away in Faversham. The pub also boasts an award-winning wine list, along with a selection of premium spirits. The team specialise in cocktails, recently introducing a new menu with popular offerings ranging from the refined elegance of a classic Negroni, to a refreshing frozen Strawberry Daiquiri.
Get outdoors at The Three Mariners
The pub’s beautiful garden spans three levels, from the top terrace offering a stunning view of Oare Creek, to the middle terrace boasting its own outdoor bar and kitchen, and then the extensive main garden. Regular entertainment is hosted on its quirky outdoor stage, a restored boat rescued from Oare Creek and named ‘Betina’, throughout the summer months, including theatre and live music.
Meet the team
Nadine and Kyle have recently taken over the Three Mariners. Originally hailing from Eynsford in Kent, they have a combined 16 years’ experience in the industry, and previously worked at another Shepherd Neame pub, The Castle Hotel in Eynsford, which is where they met. Kyle works as Head Chef and Nadine manages the bar and restaurant. Their many long-serving team members include lifelong Oare resident Phillip Hope, who helps to manage the kitchen, and Jack Goddard, the pub’s in-house wine expert who is always happy to help customers with guidance on the perfect pairing.
